That's better. [And takes the rag.]

[turns away to strip off the shirt and undo the bandages]

[And digs into his bag] Aren't you lucky I always carry these things with me?

You must be a healer back in your home world.

Hm. [finally undoes the bandages, revealing the wounds]

And someone close to me blew his hand out, so I had to help him with the bandages a lot. You tend to learn to do this stuff when you have to tend to a wound everyday.

[looks over her shoulder] Blew his hand out?

[Quickly goes to soak the rag, and returns] With an explosive. He held it in his hand for a little too long. Lost two fingers and screwed the rest of his hand.

How stupid of him.

It was an accident, but I agree...[And moves behind her, starting to gently dab the rag against her.]

[just stands there, back rippling slightly]

[And runs his free hand through her feathers.]

It doesn't hurt you when you get distracted, right?

[And juggles between getting her back clean and playing around with her wings as he moves them around, trying to get the rag beneath them.]
