*this is Luke, lying on the floor. He's kinda clutching his chest. And if you can listen carefully, you can hear Death and Lina arguing. Hey, on their side of existence, they're loud enough that some passing souls are telling them to quiet the hell down they're disturbing the peace. Before anyone gets depressed, no, it's not his time, but something interesting might happen with Lina instead...*

What are you trying to take from him? [Once again he kneels down in front of Luke but this time he casts a healing arte on him.]

*smiles a bit, sniffling* Thank you...

Why are you crying? [He continues to cast the healing arte. There is a hint of confusion on his face.]

I don't want him to die.

[annoyed] It's a part of the cycle, you shouldn't-

Shut up! He's... he has a kid.

...Nothing matters when it's your time to die. [He finishes casting the healing arte. Then reaches out to touch Luke and feel his pulse.]

*groans*

[He still can't help but to wonder if he should have killed this helpless man.] ...how are you feeling?

I... you're welcome... [He felt that there really was meaning behind her words. That she was actually thanking him.]

You two. You're more than spirits right?

*has her hands clasped* I... yes. I can't... there's something stopping me from saying what I am. Thank you... oh God, thank you so much. *looks at him with grateful eyes*

... I, anyway, am a collector for the cycle. She... [looks at her, frowning] I can't imagine why you were able to push it back into his body...

...don't look at me like that... [he steps a little away from her, shaking slightly.]

*has her eyes closed, smiling slightly* Thank you.

[He turns away from her so as not to look at her.] ...it was nothing.

...will he be alright now?

Why do you two feel familiar?

You are allowed to. [watches Lina whispering over Luke, smiling and comforting]

... [He just smiles and turns to look at Luke.] why does she cry when he has been saved?

She believes everyone deserves to live. She is happy he lives.

[He now turns his attention to Lina.] She really was grateful for what I did for him... but I... [He smiles and remember his thoughts of killing Luke.]
