In a way yes. The world is peachy. It's doing just fine.

...[nods] All right. [smiles faintly, taking your hand and starts walking in the direction where his room is]

ah...yes as well as I'll ever be. There isn't much to do here really. [opens the door to his room and lets you go in first]

Of course there isn't. What did you expect? [He looks inside carefully before stepping in.] You don't mind? [He gestures towards Ion's bed.]

hm, I feel like I'm wasting time the longer I'm here...

Continue to help the people live without the Score.

[watches him, frowning and coming over to you] You should rest now.

[He turns on his side to look at Ion and then reach for his hand.]

...I'm not sure what has happened in the world since Van was defeated, but I've been busy trying to help the people keep living without needing to rely on the Score. It's been a difficult process and I had to disappear at a bad time...[extends his hand to yours, the other resting on top]

So Van was defeated. [smirks.] I wonder what the one here is trying to do. [He tugs on Ion's hand trying to pull him closer.]

Well yes...or so I believed. [comes closer without conflict] ...he says he's before he went to the Absorption Gate but...

What happened there at the Absorption Gate? [He pulls Ion's hand close, pressing his cheek against them.]

I was informed by Luke and the others that Van was defeated at the Absorption Gate...but recent reports seem to say otherwise... [smiles faintly, stroking his cheek]

What do you mean by defeated... If they killed him just say so. [There really is no malice in his voice it just sounds faint.]

W-Well that's what we believed until recently. All they told me was that Van fell when he was defeated...into the planet's core... [sighs, pulling a blanket over him] You should rest now. We can discuss about this matter another time when you are well rested.
