[He's drawing something into the ground with the end of his staff, humming to himself as he does so. Every now and then, he pauses, tilting his head and letting his humming die away to assess his progress before he starts drawing again.]

I wish there was some way to help him find happiness, though. He's been through so much... even just here, even before here... he deserves to be happy, you know?

I understand. I wish for him to be happy too. But that's something a person has to discover for themself, I think. No matter how hard you try, they have to choose to be happy with how things are.

I guess the most I can really do is try to make sure he doesn't get hurt along the way. In... any way I can. Even if it's just physically...
