Yeah, it did. It took a bit, for everyone to finally let go, but there's only small groups that keep trying to cling to the past now, even though everything about what it said finally came out.

This... this whole thing is my fault. Even though Jade said there'd be trouble if we stopped the Planet Storm, I thought it'd be okay. I thought, once Lorelei was free, that'd be it, and everything would be fine. It should've balanced things, right? I guess I really should've paid a little more attention to studying back then.

Asch and I... we're trying to fix it. But it's really hard to keep believing it'll be alright sometimes... will there really always be people who are that selfish...?

Don't blame yourself for the actions of others, this isn't your fault.

This was why I thought of the replica plan. It's impossible to expect others to be willing to change and work for themselves after over 2000 years of having everything given to them.

That plan was no better than what they were doing. People... people can change. Even if it takes them a while, I'm sure that they can. Maybe not all of them, but... I mean, if Asch and I can get along, then anyone should be able to at least try. They should...

No, that is a poor excuse. You may have part of the blame in reducing the planet's source of fonons, but you can't be blamed for the actions of others. If you wish to carry the burden for everyone's actions, then you best find another excuse.

Do you wholeheartedly believe, after everything you've seen, that people can change?

I do. After all... I've changed. Everyone did, back then... even if it was just a little bit. And, if I could, then I really think most anyone can. I mean... you can't get much worse than how I used to be.

I don't really know for sure... we never really went back, me and Asch. Figured it'd be... weird for everyone, seeing us both so young again. But from what I've heard, she's doing pretty well.
