I find that difficult to believe Van, after all wasn't the key created by Yulia. How about describing a method that does not involve Lorelei in which one can separate the two.

The sword itself can gather the 7th fonon, while the jewel can increase the amount... at least that is what I believe I've heard.

Of course the risk Van is talking about is that silly thread of death, but I don't have much to worry about in that case.

The jewel disperses fonons, but it doesn't create them. The quantity of seventh fonons is still very limited.
