This isn't clean or clear cut. I wish it was, but it's not. If you didn't smell so overwhelmingly of "human," I would accuse you of being another House in the White Court, as you've made me care so deeply.

*doesn't know what to say, so he's just gonna keep his head bowed, not looking at him*

[touches his face with his bare hand]

*pulls back slightly* I-I don't want to hurt you further...

[looks at his hand, then pulls it back] Rest.

*nods, and lays down, shifting to get the blankets over him* Stay here with me, okay...?

[sits, watching him]

*closes his eyes* I wish my touch didn't hurt you.... I just want to sleep with you... I bet you'd be a comfortable pillow.

[laughs] Not quite. But... I understand what you mean.

*smiles softly as his laugh* You should do that more often.

[smiles slightly]

*opens his eyes a crack* I like it when you smile. Do that more often, too.

[laughs again] Of course.

I just want you to be happy.

I will be.

*nods and closes his eyes again, this time, smiling*

[just watches him fall asleep]

*and right before he falls asleep, a very quiet "I love you" can be heard from him*

[he waits until Asch is very asleep, and murmurs a pained "I love you" as well]
