[ since ion is amazing at getting himself in trouble... he's once again sapped of his normal energy -- energy which refuses to come back. he's currently sitting along a wall in a random hallway, merely "resting" during a trip to track down a kitchen in this place. this is one of many times he's been forced to stop, so bogged down by exhaustion.

of course, he'll pretend as if nothing is wrong. his knees are drawn to his chest, forehead resting on them for the time being. ]

[ "Not available as" closes his eyes, not wanting to see Ion's face for the next part "food." ]

... [ looks down at the floor... really unsure of what to think. ] I see.

[ touches his hand after a moment ]

[ looks up at him. ] At least you're willing to go that far to protect me...?

[ looks at him, cupping his face after a long moment ]

[ gentle nuzzles into his hand. ]

[ carefully leans in, kissing him ]

[ nervously returns the kiss... mostly worrying he was still terrible at it. ]

[ keeps it short, pulling back quickly, ashamed ]

... [ tilts his head slightly, looking over his face carefully. ] Are you okay?

[ pulls him close ]

[ gives a little gasp of surprise, a moment passing before he wraps his own arms around him. ]

[ writing on his shoulder "I should never be thinking of you as food." ]

...You can't help it.

[ "You are not food. You're more." ]

[ pulls back to look at him, tracing his face ]

[ still blushing, a rather bashful smile on his face. ]

[ "Life." ]

[ smiles even more. ] Th... That's so sweet.

[ slowly pulls away ]

You're far too nice to me... I'm so lucky to have met you.

[ smiles sadly, stroking his hair back ]
