[Luke hated it that his meeting with his brother had gone so sour after not seeing him for so long. He knew it was stupid to think that Asch would magically like him and accept him as a brother, but...the hope was still there. He supposed things like that wouldn't happen on their own, and that he was to make an effort as well. For now, Luke stands there thoughtfully, playing with what seems a locket, the only thing his mother could give him before the attack.]

What tone?

They are wings. They are not anything to worship.

I'm not going to start worshiping you or anything...I just think the concept of an angel is cool.

And why do you think that?

Well...I've been told about Guardian angels, who supposedly watch over you and protect you. I think it'd be nice to have that.

Y'know, people here are pretty chill so I don't think you'll have to worry about people treating you strange. Also, if you have wings, think that you have something that other's don't and that even if it hurts, it's special.

Who knows, maybe the cure to the curse is actually not seeing it as one.
