[Today is an experimentation day in the kitchen for Asch. He's cooked something a little different to what he's use to. Sukiyaki! And it seems to have been a success. Now, what to do with dessert...]

Oooo, sounds good! Does it have lots of icing?

...I'd say mostly strawberry then icing. [extends his hand out for the book] If you want a little bit more icing I can do that.

That's great too. As long as there's nothing gross like carrots. *hands him the book with a grin.* Would you really?

hmm, maybe I should change it to a carrot cake. [smirks, taking the book, and flipping through it to find the recipe] Sure.

You wouldn't! *makes a face.* Wait.. people actually put carrots in cake? Yuck!

[chuckles] Yes. And it taste good too. [he's grinning behind that book. He'll have to sneak a slice of carrot cake to Luke sometime just for laughs.]

That's disgusting! *he can almost FEEL the smugness coming from Asch, the jerk.*

aww, it doesn't taste as bad as it sounds, really. [haha. Places the book down on the counter, the Strawberry Shortcake recipe showing. He checks the cabinets to get a bowl, strainer and some other things. ]

Carrots. Are. Gross. The end. *quickly flips through the book, hoping to find and remove any recipe using carrot. no respect for books, this one.*

[and Asch does not approve.] Hey! Stop turning the pages! I can't make Strawberry Shortcake without the book yet.

My finger's keeping your place, don't go getting your underwear in a bunch. I just wanna look!

[ >/ he's a little suspicious of you looking through that book, but says nothing as he starts pre-setting things]

*more than likely there's at least one carrot cake recipe in there, but with all the other chocolate ones in there, he's not getting very far in his search. just be wary of drool when he's done with the book.*

[ugh, that's a gross thought DX. Ok, thats enough quality time with the book as he walks over to Luke.] May I see that book now?

*lol! taking one last look a page with fudge, he slides it back.* Man! I wanna learn to make some of these things. They look great!

[grins] Even though you'll probably cause a fire like last time?

Now come on! That was just a fluke! It won't happen again!

heh, I'll have to make sure it won't by keeping an eye on what you do. [he's pouring the mix batter he just made into a small round baking sheet and puts it in the oven.]

Yeah, yeah. Whatever floats your boat. I'm not going to screw up that badly again. Wasn't my fault anyway. Stupid fontech...

[laughs softly, taking a look through the book] You can always start off with cookies. They're pretty simple to make.

It's not the food part the gets me, it's the damn thing that cooks them. If Guy was around, I'd blame him for rigging the fontech against me.

Well he's not. Fontech just doesn't like you, Luke.

Dunno why it doesn't. I'm a pretty likable guy! At least my cook is better than Natalia's.

[snorts.] When you keep your mouth shut. [ahah, let's not start with Natalia.]
