[ guess who found a lighter? if you answered Luke, you're correct. unfortunately, your only prize is a brooding redhead on a bench outside, his eyes closed and a handful of cigarette butts at his feet. he's currently burning through his fourth. ]

[ he's not really going anywhere in particular, and after a bit of wandering he winds up at a balcony. ... he folds his arms over the railing and looks at nothing, resting his chin on his arms ]

*content that Luke isn't about to do something very foolish, he stops just around a corner from where Luke is at. suddenly, he finds himself wondering just what the hell he's doing, chasing after this Luke.*

[ part of Luke figures Asch followed him, so he carefully moves toward said corner, trying to sneak up on him and ask why he followed him. ]

*he's lost in thought and unable to hear Luke approaching. he doesn't see him, either, as his eyes are closed while he rubs his temples.*

[ which leads to Luke getting right up in his face and blowing air at his bangs ]

--! *not one of the best things to do to someone used to being ambushed, as his first instinct is lash out at his so-called 'attacker'.*

[ lash out in what way, exactly? depending, Luke is just gonna snicker at him and step away. ] What are you, stalking me now?

*well, with his sword still in his room, he'd have to try decking him.* Making sure you aren't being stupid.

[ Luke has decent reflexes, he probably dodged. ] I'm flattered, really. But you don't have to babysit me. [ pats him on the shoulder and moves to walk past ] I'm a big boy.

Tch... You better still be here when he shows up. *shrugs him off, not looking back.*

[ blinks, raising an eyebrow ] ... Who?

[ visibly flinches ] ...

...don't make me have to kick your ass for being a fool.

[ won't look at him ]

Doesn't mean you have to be. *gives him a scolding glare, even if he isn't looking.*

[ for some reason, it never really occurred to him that he may never see his Asch again. thusly right now he is trying very hard to remain upright and not horribly sad. ]

... *this is why he hates dealing with people. they're frustrating and impossible to understand. and he hasn't the foggiest idea as to what he should do.*
