[Staff-bearing Luke is out and about. Or at least out, since he's not doing much in the way of wandering about. Instead, he's kind of sitting almost precariously on a tree branch, leaning back against the trunk with his eyes closed, his staff held across his stomach.

... [nods slightly] But that's what makes this time even more important. Fixing what went wrong, saving them for real... I mean... that's what I want to make of my life. That's the purpose I've found for myself, I guess.

There are many other things you could have chosen to do. It isn't a bad choice. You've come a long way. [ Gives an aggravated sigh, brushing his hair out of his wings. ] Doesn't mean you have to go sticking your nose where it doesn't belong.

[ Reaches down, grabbing him by the wrist. ] Make sure you're happy first.

Between the two of us, I'm the one who's devoted to someone who I'm probably never going to see again. I'm not the one who'll be happy here.

...so you'll give up trying to make yourself happy? Who's weak-willed now?

I'm not giving up. I haven't stopped looking for a way out of this place. But, it's also logic. My happiness won't happen first in this place, and, really... I'll be happy enough, knowing I've helped you.

Hmph. You shouldn't worry about me. I can think of another who could use help more than us.
