Heh. [Ion chuckled.] As I thought. I hang around with Sync more than my 7th replica.

["Your seventh... you're an original?"]

We met a while ago, remember? I was wandering around in the hallways and I bumped into you by accident.

["So you're the one. I had wondered if my mind had made that up." weak little smile. "Working through the morning and finding little answers gave rise to odd dreams."]

[Ion takes the time to read his hands.]

I'm real. Odd dreams?

["Indeed. Some of which includes pirates, replica ocean worlds, and lesbian pirates from outer space. (http://rosalarian.com/lesbianpirates/) Obviously nothing that could happen here."]

Your dreams sound silly and fun. I always have the same dream of killing someone, corpses, blood, guts, and all the unpleasant things.

[looks at him, sadly. "Not all of them. Some are dreams of the world I came from, of the war I was in and having to kill other replicas like myself and trying to protect someone who fought against losing the world she knew."]

That's tragic. You're a soldier, aren't you?

["I was-" hesitates, trying to think of the words "-forced to be a soldier. It was one of the few things that was considered 'right' for a screwed up replica like myself. A soldier, a bodyguard... a fighter that didn't need words and was as disposable as trash. Given my original, I was allowed a little look into the science... but I was a reject. No one would let a reject work on the replication process or even looking at why replicas couldn't give birth."]

[Ion read his hand gestures to read out his words carefully.

He can't say much, being an original himself.]

["I owe more than I should to your continuing replica line. They accepted me, gave me reason, and-" looks at his hands "-accepted me here even when I became a vampire."]

[Ion smiled wryly.]

Ah yes, my replicas...they're nice to you in your world, aren't they?

[reaches out, touching his shoulder to write on it with his finger. "Isn't that enough?"]

[Ion turn his head and he smiled.]

But perhaps it's enough. [And Ion looks at his hands. They reeked strongly of monster's blood.]

[which does cause him to look at the blood hungrily, but shakes his head]
