[ Eases him down, crouching beside him. ] Let it out. Get it out of your system, so you can have a fresh start tomorrow.

[ moves his hands away from his face and just looks up at him for a moment, quiet for half a second. ...and for a second, his face looks almost comical before he just collapses into Asch's lap, sobbing all over again ]

[ It's probably a good thing he went back to sobbing, for that brief moment Asch had the sudden urge to lean in and force a kiss on him; to make Luke accept that he isn't alone and that he has someone right here that cares for him. ]

[ I imagine that would have just made it worse. ~~or better, depending.~~ ...instead, he's just gonna lay in a heap in Asch's lap and... sob for all he's worth. >>; ]

[ ~~Thankfully they don't have that dilemma.~~ Asch shifts around to make his lap more comfort for Luke, stroking his hair in silence. ]

[ slowly starts to wind down, sobs becoming more like whined hiccups ]

[ Rests a hand on his cheek, petting him with his thumb. ]

[ buries his face in Asch's thigh, largely out of embarrassment ]

..feels better to let it out, doesn't it?

[ nods ]

[ Slips both his arms under Luke's, pulling him into another hug. ]

[ shifts around and leans into the embrace ]

[ Turns, resting against the wall. ] Anytime.

[ dozes, leaning on him ]

... [ Once Luke is out light a light, or so Asch hopes, he'll get scooped up into the other's arms. ]

[ he's not quite out, but he's too tired in too many ways to really protest right now. ]

[ Hope he doesn't mind being carried bridal-style back to the house. Seeing as how his and Wingy's bed is the bigger one, that's where he deposits Luke to rest for now. ]

[ surprisingly, not at all. he just kind of hangs out, dozing still ]

[ Asch quietly removes his own boots, sword, and tabard before sitting down next to Luke, not wanting to disturb him further. ]

[ he's still semi-conscious. ...at least enough to walk his hand over to Asch, trying to find the older redhead's hand ]

[ The movement of his hand was hard not to miss, even with his eyes elsewhere. Gently, he takes Luke's hand in his own and places the other on top. ]

[ smiles faintly in his half-sleep before burying his face in the mattress ]

[ He knows Luke won't see it, yet he can't help but return the smile. ]

[ part of the reason he's so quiet is because he doesn't really know how to say how grateful he is to Asch for this. he's bad at properly expressing these things. ]

[ If Asch knew that was the reason for his silence, he'd get a chuckle about how much the two of them are alike. ]
