[Guess who's back. Back again. Jade is back. Tell some some friends. Anyways, with how warm the weather is nowadays, you kinda wondered how this smiling Jade keep his cool with his layered Malkuth uniform and all. What's even more amazing is that he is able to read a huge textbook about science and fonons and other complex stuff while sitting behind his stand under a big umbrella for shade. A sign above his lemonade stand now reads:]

"FEELING HOT? BORED? BOTHERED? NEED HELP? 5 GALD FOR SOUND ADVICE.

ICED COFFEE OR TEA IS 10 GALD. CAFFEINATED OR DECAFFEINATED? YOUR CHOICE.

THE DOCTOR IS IN."

[Jade merely listens. It's all he can do. He find it strange that it's easy for him to get people to talk about themselves. Up to now, the only person that he fails to listen to is Saphir.]

Yes, Van deserves it. I rather punish him to stop him from misusing the fomicry machine, which I made it illegal for anyone to use. But my personal reason to kill him is to avenge my death. [Not exactly his reason. He find it illogical and he doesn't care about vengeance, but he said it to make Asch understand him better.]

...You died?

I died. I would rather go back and help Luke finish his final business with Van, but so far, I can't return.

...Does it hurt to die?

[For Jade, it hurts like a bitch. He smiles pleasantly, amused.]

Well, there's saying goes: If you die bravely and valiantly in battle, you become a legend and people will remember your name for ages.

So, yes, dying during battle hurts, but if people remember my name, Jade Curtiss for a thousand years, then it's worth it.

Are you Luke and Asch's friend?

I'm friendly to all Lukes. For Asch, I'll try to be polite, but he always seem to have swallowed a bug and it shows on his face.

However, [Jade glance at his rose.] my first and foremost friend here is that little Saphir and all Saphir and Dist, should I luckily encounter them.

...I don't like Dist. He's too weird, and creepy, and mean.

All the better to poke fun at him and see how he reacts~.

...If you helped them stop Master Van, then why don't you like Asch?

Oh no I like him as comrades. But his personal matters lies with Luke.

[He smiles and takes back the glass to clean it for later. Another redhead served.]

[He merely nods. Of course, inwardly, he goes "Damn, no Saphir to make things interesting nyoron~. 3:"]

No, I had everything I wanted. Unlike children, adults don't grieve easily.

You can't stay here forever. It's hot and in the evening, I'm going to my house to read and take care of little Saphir.

I just want to stay for now... I'm bored otherwise.
