[This wasn't right, not at all. Asch had never actually been to the Radiation Gate before this, but he was pretty damn sure it wasn't supposed to look like this. Instead of the ancient structure he had been expecting, he now saw... a strange, large building, with a small village surrounding it. It didn't look like anything he had ever seen on Auldrant, but there was no other explanation for it. The Albiore was nowhere to be seen, though; there's no way it could have been flown away so quickly, and Asch knew (hoped) that he wouldn't be left alone like that...

And so he set off, investigating this strange new location, looking even angrier than usual. He would very much like to get out of here, or at least get an explanation, so any help would be greatly appreciated.]

(ooc; just to warn you, this asch is au, but that's all i'll say about that for now. also, this is my first time playing a canon-ish asch, so let me know how i'm doing!)

I know that! It's just weird, that's all... I guess I'll just have to meet him all over again.

Come to think of it, I think the only person he's ever been rough with is me... But yeah, you can't very well go without knowing your own father.

...That's going to be weird to get used to, too.

It'll get easier the longer you're here for.

As long as you don't expect me to call you anything more than your name, then I can at least try to get used to it again. Don't expect anything too soon, either.

That's fine by me. We'll take it slowly just like we did before. It is kind of like starting over again.

Not quite starting over. I'm not objecting to it this time...

I won't threaten to run away anymore, either.

That'll makes things easier for everybody, let me tell you.

Plus it'll hurt our kiddo's feelings if his brother were to run off without him.

Isn't he a little young to care about that?

Right now he is, but before you know it he'll be trying to follow you.

I guess so. It still makes it kinda hard to do things, though, if he's going to follow me everywhere.

I promise we'll keep him in check if he gets to be too annoying for you.

Yup... It's almost unreal how tiny and helpless people start off. Or most people, anyway.

Replicas do too... Just not so small. You did, at least.
