[Here, the newest Jade to the Dressing Room steps in... except, this one clearly isn't Jade. He's dressed much like a God-General, mostly black with blue highlights and designs. He also dons a cape and has a noticeable lack of glasses--replaced with a silver wreath about his head. He lacks the teasing smile that his clones doubtlessly would have, and his eyes were hauntingly empty. He seemed older than most, possibly in his early forties.]

[His only response to his new surroundings is to narrow his eyes and appear lost in thought.]

... That's just ridiculous... Then again, I don't expect anything else from you.

[He's actually quite content to just listen to the other. After all, he hasn't heard his voice in over a year...]

[Just smiles at him. He looks cute being begrudging and grounchy like that.]

Do you want to know what I wished for?

[He looked up, finally making eye-contact with the other. His expression didn't change, but his heart was racing yet again.]

[Peony leans in closer, gives him a wink, and kisses him.]

[He begins to respond before watching as the other moved in, feeling his face heat at the wink. He froze at the kiss, unsure whether to return it or push him away. He presses on the other's chest, turning his head away from the kiss and appearing pained.]

Peony... I don't feel that way for you.

[Peony is not convinced, but just to be sure, he gives him a hug.]

Are you sure...?

[He lifts his arms to curl around him, closing his eyes and not saying a word.]

[He embraces him nice and tight.]

[He tries to pull away from him, trying to return his expression to a blank one.]

...man, if you're trying to be a stoic antihero, you should try harder. Otherwise, that act of denial isn't going to work on me.

[Where are you going, buddy? Peony pulls him right back into his arms.]

[He just sighs and rests his head onto the other's chest, giving up.]

... Why... I assumed you had a thing for Nephry.

[He's going to hug him and to be more comforting, he rubs his back.]

Nephry is happily married to another for nearly two decades. When the Score is losing it's power, it's...it's too late for me. She started a family already and her kids are growing.

[He's very comforted already, Peony.]

... [He reached up to curl gloved fingers under the other man's chin.] You've always been a fool...

[He looks at him intensely. The wine finally kicks in, making his face flushed red and his head a little tipsy.]

Old men are fools.

[He leans up, lips close to the blond's, judging his reaction. He whispered, breath ghosting over the other's lips.]

Indeed they are... Myself, included.

[He doesn't mind. He allows him to get close. His blue eyes looking into his. He breathes back.]

That goes for the both of us then.

[He leans in finally to capture the other's lips in a light kiss, having given up his facade a while ago. His hand came to rest upon his cheek as his eyes slipped shut.]

[He closes his eyes and returns the kiss, keeping it light and gentle.]

[And just as quickly as he began, he's pulling away and tugging him in the general direction of his house. When will he ever get this chance again to have Peony all to himself? No distractions from the court or army, no world to save...]

Where is your house, now? You keep getting distracted... as usual.

Not distracted...just a little tipsy.

[Oh, taking the lead now? Peony follows him just as easily. It's easy to tell his house is different from the others. For one thing, the herd of rappigs were sleeping on the meadow in front of his house.]

Oh, that's my house. ♪ [He reached inside his pocket to take his keys out and then he turns to Cute Jade.] Hey, Jade boo. Go join your brother and sisters.

[Nocturne always takes the lead. ... Right. He just stares at the rappigs before closing his eyes, also feeling the wine beginning to warm him pleasantly.]

... Honestly... [Jade will forever be embarrassed by His Majesty's Imperial Rappigs.]

[Cute Jade joins the other happy rappigs while Peony works at the door, fumbling at his keys.

He opens the door and invites the Uncute Jade in.]

Let see, the guest room is on the second floor. If you want to take a shower first, then be my guest.

[He watches as the other unlocks the door, then steps in, himself, looking around the house.]

... Considering the way you spend the country's budget on fancy costumes, this is rather modest... [He glances to the other, then just nods and makes his way up the stairs. He'll gladly be taking that shower.]

I only spent a fraction of it. [Peony pouts and he himself is going to another bathroom, which he built somewhere on the first floor.]

[He stripped himself after locking the door, turning on the warm water for his shower. He stepped inside and closed the curtain behind him, letting the water wash over him and relax his muscles.]

[He stepped out after a while, drying his body with a fluffy towel and dressing in a robe he found in the bathroom. He stepped out of the bathroom with his braid over his shoulder, sighing.]
