[Here, the newest Jade to the Dressing Room steps in... except, this one clearly isn't Jade. He's dressed much like a God-General, mostly black with blue highlights and designs. He also dons a cape and has a noticeable lack of glasses--replaced with a silver wreath about his head. He lacks the teasing smile that his clones doubtlessly would have, and his eyes were hauntingly empty. He seemed older than most, possibly in his early forties.]

[His only response to his new surroundings is to narrow his eyes and appear lost in thought.]

[She can't admit that to herself - that she needs someone just as much as any of her friends do - so the fact that Jade is giving her that just by letting her hold onto him like this is doing wonders for her. She'll tighten her hold on him in gratitude, but if asked she'll vehemently deny it. Because she can be just as stubborn as you, Jade~]

[Oh, he knows she can be stubborn. He'll deny ever doing this for her, the bastard. But he knows that deep down, Anise is just a little girl who was forced to grow up far too fast... Just like the rest of them, children that were forced to be adults far too quickly... It's why everyone was so hard on Luke and Natalia. If they insisted on playing adult's games, they would have to play by the adult rules... And not that Jade would ever care to admit, but they had come a long, long way.]

He had no idea where Guy was after the attack on Grand Chokmah. Natalia, Anise, and Florian had been busy trying to stop the war... Tear... She was the hardest hit. She and Jade had lost everyone close to them. He hadn't seen her in months, nor had he been terribly close to her. But for Luke's sake... He had only seen her when Luke had died a second time, and she seemed almost beyond herself with sadness...]

[She gives Nocturne a grateful smile as he sets her down, and sets about removing Tokunaga from her shoulders. She's untying the yellow ribbons from her hair, as well, as she continues chattering away - perhaps it's to distract herself from being so tired. It's been a long day, after all.]

You really think so, Colonel?

[He just watches over her before turning away and appearing ready to leave to let her sleep.]

[And in a rare moment of sincerity:] I do. Get some rest, Anise.

[She's sitting up, under the covers and giving Jade's turned back a look, before settling down under them.]

... I will, Colonel. You too, okay?

[He turns to look at her before nodding and opening the door.]

... I will. Thank you, Anise. [And he quietly closes the door behind him, moving to find another room for now.]
