[A not so new face to the city but certainly a new occupant. Have a oddly Victorian looking Luke walking in confusion through the streets. Could be because he was expecting to step out into the court of the castle and not into the middle of a city! Still this was nothing like the streets of London at all. This place... it looked unreal. The most astounding to him was the industrial touches... basically electricity! What magic was this? Taking the cross bow off his belt he starts to load it before letting out a frustrated growl when the trigger slips and the arrow stabs into the ground.]

Oh, bugger all! You were supposed to fix this bloody trigger, Guy.

[He mutters in a distinct English accent and tries loading the cross bow once more.]

There is no reason to inform you of my thoughts. [ Takes to scratching the stone floor absently. It would be annoying to accidentally upset the human with his presumptions. ]

Less so than you. [ Chuckles and stretches out himself, returning to scrawling on the tile. ] ...it was nothing negative, I assure you.

Hardly! [Snaps at him but is too weak to throw anything at him this moment.] Hmph... [Turns his face away from the creature stretching lazily on the titled floor.]

[ Lets the silly human sulk in silence for several minutes before drifting over the fire close to him. ] ...you do realize that for all intents and purposes you are my prisoner.

... W-what? [Turns his head up and stares wide eyed.]

[ Floats about, indicating absently with his hand. ] The stairs are blocked by tons of stone and rubble. The only exit available is that window there. ...which opens up to a hundred-foot drop.

[Sits up and glares at him.] Why are you holding me prisoner, creature? I gave you what you needed. Now let me go and hunt on your own.

I brought you here to rest, as thanks for the assistance. If you are not satisfied with the pace at which I move, you may leave of your own accord.

... [Blinks.] So you're not holding me here against my will? Just... until you get bored with me?

Not even that, human. My only goal was to give you a secure place to regain your strength.

[ A slow grin spreads across his face as he backs towards the window. ] However... now that you mention it, I could have myself an endless food supply, couldn't I.. Much like a pet.

Don't even think about it! [Shouts and tosses a pillow at him but it doesn't go to far in his weakened state.] Tch! I've already been claimed…

[ Congrats, Luke. You've made the pillow into a flaming marshmallow. ] Ah, but you said yourself that he is not here. From what I know, you would quickly become lonely without him.

[Dangit. A disheartened look came across the human's face.] He'll be here... He'll find his way to me... He always finds me... [Does his best to sound confident in his words.]

[ Satisfied that his point was made, he quietly landed and walked back to the other. ] You can take comfort in knowing that you are not by yourself here, even should he be unable to reach you.

[The slightly sad look only deepens the more he points out the possibility of never seeing his Asch again.] D-don't say such things... he'll be here.

[Looks up at the vampire's offer.] Do you… miss your Luke?

So we shall hope. Humans are bothersome and bring nothing but trouble.

[ At first he makes no move that he heard the question, until he just barely shrugs. ] I had many dreams while asleep. He was in some of them.

[Gives a small smile at that answer.] then I hope he returns to you to... but I wont mind keeping you company from time to time.
