[ Then after some more rustling and a sharp snap, you're going to have a full-sized replica falling into your personal space -- obligatory shouting included. ] AUGH!

[ Wonderful. And because he wasn't expecting replicas to rain on him, Guy is going to scream just as loud, and maybe flail on the ground since it was the only thing he could do. But once the shock of it all wore off, Guy stared at the offending lump on top of him, and sighed] ...You know, I was just thinking I'd like to see you again, Luke, but this borders on ridiculous.

[ Guy should look on the bright side; it was only one replica that showered him with with their presence, not half a dozen or so. And in typical Luke fashion, Guy's screaming make Luke yell louder, until he figures out where and who he's on. At which point he ceased struggling and laughed a tiny bit. ] ...h-hey there, Guy. I would've dropped in sooner if I'd known you were here.

As much as appreciate you being here -- [Guy shoved Luke right off him, and onto the grass] I don't quite appreciate you crushing me. Honestly, What have they been feeding you? You're as heavy as a rappig.

[ Luke just props himself up on his elbows to glare. ] 'ey! Who're you calling a rappig? I haven't been eating any more than normal! You sure you just haven't gotten weaker?

I'm pretty sure you've gotten heavier.

[ Guy peers at a piece of the branch that was laying next to them ]

If you don't believe me, I'm sure the tree will vouch for me.

I have not! [ The poor limb gets a dirty look from Luke. ]

It wasn't that sturdy to begin with, okay? ...what were you doing down there anyways?

I think the better question is what you were doing up there, especially if the branches didn't look sturdy.

Getting myself a snack. [ And don't you dare laugh; he holds up an apple that had a bruise from the fall. ]

[ Oh, he is far from laughing, Luke. If anything, you're getting a groan from Guy ] Luke, if you wanted a snack, why didn't you just come to me or someone else? You know, you could have ended up seriously hurt! You could have broken something, or hit your head and become unconscious...You could have --

[ And cue Guy's special arte: "Caretaker Nag". Better shield yourself from it, Luke, cause it can shed some serious HP. ]

[ Ack! That was the last thing Luke expected to get out him. He shrinks a little, rolling the apple between his hands. ] There.. there wasn't much point in bugging you guys when it was right there and I could help myself. Besides, nothing bad has happened to me since then... It's okay, Guy. Alls well that ends well, right?

[ While that response only made Guy's anger increase, he forced himself to swallow it, placing an irritable hand over his face and letting out a deep sigh. Not like he had a right to scold Luke...right? ] Right, right. Sorry.

Sorry... I'm sorry, Guy. [ It had been a long time since Luke had been so harshly chastised, so Guy's unexpected rage was one heck of a shock. Or maybe he'd just become used to being on his own, without anyone to worry over him. ] Did you want one? I can climb back up for another.

Don't apologize; I...kind of let my emotions get the best of me. [ He reached a hand forward to ruffle Luke's hair like he normally would. It was kind of bittersweet for Guy; there were so many Lukes in this place, and yet he wondered if he would ever topple into the one he knew] And don't worry, I'm not hungry.

Then.. do mind if I ask why I upset you? [ It's tempting to pout at being treated like a kid, and yet it was too much of a comfort. ]

[A pause. Then he tries wiping his face with a sad little smile ] It's lonely being a servant without a master.

Huh? [ Guy's answer is met with a puzzled look. Without really meaning to, Luke's head tilts to the side. ] Where's the me you know?

That...doesn't really matter, now, does it? [ Saying that for the sake of some poor Luke. Surely, he wouldn't want to hear about his future, if he was from an earlier point]

[ Quite the contrary, Luke props his arm up on a knee and gives Guy a knowing smile. ] ...did yours beat Master Van too?

[ Luke's words get an interesting reaction out of Guy. For the first few seconds, all he can do is stare at him. Then, he grins ]

Of course he did. He had me as backup, after all. It would have been pretty silly if he hadn't.

[ Luke returns the grin in full force, laughing. ]

I should have know as much. You're always there for whenever I need you, like always. Hope he didn't make you do all the work.

[ He shrugs ]

Well, to be honest, he did get lazy at one point. But again, he is used to being the center of attention, so he went right back in there, trying to steal the spotlight.

Hah... You make it sound like my efforts to try my hardest are nothing but a kid's attempt to have everyone watching him. I'm not that stuck up. ..not so much, anyways.

[ Guy laughs, but...at the same time he's feeling a bit overwhelmed. He has no way to know if this is the Luke he knows, and that kills him. ]

[ Luke on the other hand is just happy to have Guy to talk with -- one that knows everything that has happened, no less. ] ...ran off my mouth again, didn't I?
