[A certain fraccion is sitting out by his lonesome, looking rather depressed as he twirled a scalpel between his fingers, before throwing it into the dirt as hard as he could with a faint growl. Of course, him throwing something as hard as he could meant that the scalpel buried itself almost entirely. Another faint sigh escaped from him; he supposed he should pull it back out before one of the children around encountered it, but he didn't have the heart for it.]

[He could use a hug... or a specimen to play with. Either one.]

Hmn... we should find him... if he's been here all this time, it could be potentially damaging for you.

It's possible he isn't here anymore. If he is, he's only a child. I just thought you should know, so you could decide if it was an issue or not.

It's something I will need to look into as soon as humanly possible.

[He's suddenly gone from sitting to standing up; yes, he is that worried.]

He can't talk right, either, from what I remember. Even though he had to have been at least two or so when I last remember him... [Asch stands up himself, a bit worried now with how quick Luke is to stand up. He didn't really think it was that big of a deal, himself, but now he wasn't so sure.]

Does he at least attempt to form words, or does it sound more like baby gibberish?

[he lets Asch lead; he knows where to look.]

He does try to talk. He just doesn't really use the language right... He's always mixing the words up, or making other mistakes.

[It's been a while since he's really been out much, let alone seen the younger Luke, but he starts leading Luke to the field he seemed to find his replica in most of the time.]

He has probably never learned...

[Luke paused as he was brought out to the field, eyes searching...]

He should have, by this point. He's old enough... The maids must not have tried to teach him yet.

...He plays out here a lot. He used to try to get me to play with him.

The human mind can only process so much on its own. Eventually, one must learn from others...

[He continues scanning the fields; no Luke that he can see...]

He must have learned eventually. He talks fine back on Auldrant.

Indeed. Still, the thought that it took him so long does not set well with me...

[Gives up after a moment, not seeing or sensing anyone.]

I don't recall, but I imagine it was. I'm certain those in the manor wished for me to return to being 'Luke' as soon as possible.

Guy and Natalia, as well as the tutors, not that I paid attention to most.

...Father actually got you tutors?

... [smiles] Well, tried to.

Even that's a surprise, though. I didn't think he would have cared enough.

Of course he did. Though, I assume purely to keep up the appearance of caring for he who was meant to be the next king of Kimlasca.

...Yeah, I guess he kind of had to.

...He might be trying to get some food or something.
