Dressing Room Rules

For any community to run smoothly, certain rules are necessary. Most of these rules are really just common sense where roleplaying is concerned, but we felt it would be best to put the rules right out in the open so we can avoid any trouble.

General Conduct
  • Drama and wank will not be tolerated in the community; please take it up in your personal journal or other places geared toward such things.
  • Godmoding will not be permitted in any way. If it is not your character and you don't have permission, you may not decide what happens to them or what they will do.
  • Please post only with character journals, and please only post RP posts. However, feel free to watch the community with your personal journal.
  • If you have any questions or concerns, contact the moderators ([personal profile] maqui and [personal profile] solerika) and we will do our best to help resolve any problems that may have arisen.

Character-Specific Rules
  • Characters should all actually come from Tales of the Abyss; this means that you should not post with an original character. However, you can write interactions with an NPC'd original character (for example, [personal profile] scionofhispower and [personal profile] fononfailure have a son named Aidan who is sometimes with them in their posts).
  • Characters can come from vastly different RPs or canons. They may not behave as you expect or think they should. Do not go harping on people about this! Everyone is allowed to play their version of a character in their own way. Do not take IC actions and comments as an insult against you or your opinion.
  • All kinds of versions of the characters are allowed: AU, genderswitch, timeskip, and more. All kinds of content is also allowed. The only requirement is that posts containing adult content or comments be marked with a Not Safe For Work warning. If you would like, this can easily be accomplished using the age restriction settings when posting.

And that's about it, really. Well, except for one last note that's more of a suggestion than a rule, per say: Have fun!
