[Naturally, when you hear that particular Luke whine currently coming out of one long-haired brat, you have to wonder where the cheese is.]

[Bad jokes aside, Luke is currently flailing and having an outright hissy fit of epic proportions. What do you do?]

[It really says something that he's doesn't even blink at the special whine and, instead, just gives Luke that kind smile of his.] Come on, it can't have been that bad; what was it?

[Oh.

Oh.] Luke...

W-what?

Where were you before now?

Uh... I dunno. It's been kinda hazy the past few... um...

[Considering Luke hasn't cut his hair and is clearly uncomfortable having seen someone who looks like him, Guy decides to take a stab in the dark.] On the way to Akzeriuth?

Uh, well yeah, but that was awhile ago.

[Pause, before FLAIL.]

STOP CHANGING THE SUBJECT!

[He holds his hands up in surrender; if there was one thing he didn't miss about how Luke had been, it was the yelling and the tantrums.] Sorry, sorry, I wasn't trying to change the subject. I was just trying to figure something out.

That's not the point! I saw something weird! Very weird!

Right, right. [At the very least, he's fairly certain the "something weird" Luke is talking about is Asch. But explaining that to him might be problematic, so...] You know, Luke, maybe you should try to forget about him.

How can I forget about him!?

[Luke pulled at his hair, freaking out.]

He was... he was just... horrible.

[So much for that tactic. On to plan B.] Alright. Then how about you tell me what he did?

He... he... he dyed his hair pink.

[Yeah... he's serious.]

...Wait, what? [...Don't mind Guy, Luke. He's just wondering what you'd look like with pink hair now.]

You heard me! His hair was pink! PINK!

[He tries to mask his cringe at Luke yelling.] Alright, I get it.

Maybe we can do something to take your mind off of it.

[SULK.]

Well, you know. If you start doing something else that you really like, you won't think about it that much.

Whatever you want! Maybe something fun. You know, kind of like "have so much fun, you can't help but forget everything else".

Like... at a circus or something?

[Grasping at straws, here. It's either that or sword practice, and he's not in the mood to see you pretend to get your ass whooped.]

A circus, huh? Well, sure; I'm pretty sure I saw something like that around here somewhere.

[Guy would argue that it's not his fault he had to pretend he was worse than Luke with a sword; not only does it draw all kinds of attention when a servant proves himself proficient with a weapon but it just looks really bad with a servant beats his master in a fight. ...Plus, he didn't want to deal with Luke to throwing a fit.]

Eh? Really?!

[Wow, he was just throwing that out there... and YEAH, YEAH, GUY; rub it in!]

Yeah. How about we go check it out? [Hey, at least Guy can show him something he wasn't allowed to see before; bonus points that it'll be something that might cheer his best friend up. And aww, don't worry, Guy knows Luke's inexperience wasn't his fault. There was only so much he could learn while trapped inside.]
