[Something's not quite right here, so naturally, it really must be wrong. After all, who just leaves a scrumptious looking triple layer cake with butter cream frosting just sitting on a table in the middle of a street? Certainly not a dorky not-quite-alive replica on the look out for specimens that honestly thinks humans are dumb enough to fall for this. Nope, not at all.]

Part of the goal for this Asch was to determine where exactly in the scheme of things we were, and why it seems to be only one way.

As for Tear... We must definitely search. Perhaps she is not summoned here deliberately to impede our efforts. [Which meant they might have to settle for Van. While Jade isn't opposed to this for practicality; Lukes, Aschs, and even Vans would likely rather kill eachother than work together.]

[Luke paused a moment, eyes flicking back and forth, as if he were reading over pages of his own memories.]
...Tear told me once that the Grand Fonic Hymn could be used without understanding the meaning behind it. If that is true, we could get by with just knowing the words and melody.

[Obviously, Jade didn't want to hurt Luke, any of them, if he could avoid it, yet this one had an undeniable point of necessity.]
This is true. [At the next bit of info from the Fraccion, Jade tapped his chin thoughtfully. If this were true, they wouldn't have to involve Van after all. It would be nicely convenient.
...He sighed, a bit too convenient. With their luck, unlikely to work as well. Tucking his doubts underneath a smile, he addresses the redhead once more.]
Well, we have a chance then~

[Luke offered Jade a bit of a smile. Hey, he was plotting with Jade! He could talk to him and understand him on his level! It was an amazing feeling for him.]
[He smirked after a moment.]
If it is that easy, then all we have to do is find someone that could sing.

[Jade always knew Luke was clever; he just needed opportunity to explore and learn, and apparently he wouldn't get that back in Baticul.]
[He smiles and shrugs.]
One of the few things I have no skill in whatsoever I'm afraid~ [He could hum a tune for his lover, but this would take some actual skill.]

[Luke offered Jade a faint smile.]
Sadly, that does not rank among my skills either. [He paused, considering...] Although... Asch did grow up in Daath... we could always ask if he was part of the choir at the cathedral.

[It's impossible. Jade keeps a straight face, for all of five seconds. The though of Asch, singing the Grand Fonic Hymn, with his perpetual scowl.
Not even the Necromancer can manage to keep composed, and Jade laughs at the idea.]
Luke, this is why I like you; ridiculous ideas like that are the best ones. We must find an Asch~

[A devious little grin made its way onto Luke's face.]
Oh, I happen to know an Asch I can convince. I bet he has a voice like an angel too...

...Really~?
[Jade was enjoying this a bit too much already. He hated teasing redheads so, but...well, perhaps it was just his nature.]

[Whatever way you take it, Jade, you're probably right.]
[[ooc; okay! Let's post it tomorrow?]]

[No. Jade's not even touching that direct, for he does have a feeling it's meant to be conveyed on...several different levels.]
Well, Luke, you're quite capable, I have the utmost faith in you~

[Damn, Jade. He was hoping to squick you a little. Seems he should have known better.]
Why thank you, Jade. I'll be sure not to disappoint.
