[Something's not quite right here, so naturally, it really must be wrong. After all, who just leaves a scrumptious looking triple layer cake with butter cream frosting just sitting on a table in the middle of a street? Certainly not a dorky not-quite-alive replica on the look out for specimens that honestly thinks humans are dumb enough to fall for this. Nope, not at all.]

[A glow suddenly started to appear in the middle of the Gravity Well, and suddenly it was forced to break apart, light shooting out everywhere as the arte was dispelled. Luke was standing in the center, minus the Sword, and obviously damaged from the spell. His clothing had been torn up and his neat hair tousled, some telling pink locks sticking out amongst the red.]

[His presence has increased as well. He's not intentionally exerting his spiritual pressure, but it can still be felt.]

Heh... do you really want to do this, Jade? I won't hold back just because it's you.

[Jade put up an arm, moving a bit to avoid anything coming at him. Looking Luke over briefly, he adjusted his glasses and kept his spear at his side. He tried to ignore the odd feeling he was getting for the most part.]

I'm a God-General. Do you really think I'd just sit by idly and let you tear me into spare parts? [~~Or trap cakes, dammit.~~ He sighs, not letting go of the stance but smirking lightly]

However.. I am happy to end it here. I'd hate to have our little chat end in such bloodshed~

...God General...?

[...don't hate on him too much for laughing at that. He can't really picture you taking the same road as Dist, as, at the moment, that's the only thing he can think of that would make you join Van of all people.]

[His laughter calmed quickly, and he held out his hand, a hyperresonance just... appearing there, like he was just holding onto some stray bits of fonons.]

Forgive me, Jade. You just made yourself more interesting.

[Jade says nothing and just waits. He rose a brow lightly and wondered if Luke thought the costume change was a fashion choice or if Jade was just being silly.

Either way, he didn't care too much. As the hand was out, Jade held up his own spear in defense, waiting. Better to let Luke make the first move.]

Did I now? Good for me~

[Really, he hadn't taken notice. So many different versions of them wear so many different things that he hadn't given the outfit much thought.]

[He crushed his hand around the hyperresonance, making it split apart into spheres of light that surrounded him.]

Kindly don't force me to use too much of my power against you. I hate working with a messy corpse.

[The spheres launched out at once, some searing through the buildings around them as if they were made of butter, just as destructive as any other hyperresonance would be.]

Now who's the one continuing this?

[Jade smirked as the spheres launched, hopping to the side and avoiding them, but setting up the magic barriers just in case. He grinned lightly.]

Do you really want to do this, Luke? I won't hold back just because it's you. [Nevertheless, he summoned the spear again.]

Now who's the one using the other's phrases, old man?!

[Luke launched himself forward, like he was going to rip through Jade with the shear force of his body.]

[With Luke so far away, he was certainly giving Jade room to think and plan and move.

To that end, Jade jumped as high as he could. At the height of his jump, he propelled himself further up and into the air with the burst of a wind arte. Flipping over the charging boy, Jade landed behind him, though quite far.

If he was planning on just brute-forcing as usual, Jade would have him beat. He was still wary, however, of these odd abilities the boy had. Nevertheless, he'd treat them like anything else new. He began to cast.]

O violent torrent-

[Honestly, there was little chance of catching him, but he'd prefer to fight back a bit instead of just dodging around everywhere.]

You certainly have an odd way of treating people you find interesting~

[Luke skidded to a stop, just as the water started to form above him. He held a hand out, a brilliant shield springing to life at his command. He didn't bother answering Jade, flinging the Seventh Fonon shield out at him instead.]

[Jade frowned a bit at the shield, but prepared to cast again. When the shield suddenly flew at him, he quickly moved to get out of the way. Having to pause to stop casting before moving, the shield was able to catch one of his feet and swing his leg out from under him. Hitting the ground, Jade rolled a bit, but immediately worked on getting back to his feet.]

[There was a burst of static, and suddenly Luke was right there. He had forced himself out of his other "form", the sword back in his hand and pointed at Jade.]

Don't.

[He figured the minute he got one hit from this Luke would make it all the more difficult. Despite this, Jade wasn't about to be beaten.

The change made him even more wary, but he decided to see what prompted it. He stayed on the ground, placidly staring up at Luke with his hands clearly seen.]

What, and quietly let you dismember me?

[Luke ran a hand through his hair, carefully hiding the pink strands. It was mostly out of habit -- there was no one here that would have cared that his master used his own DNA to remake him, after all.]

You're obviously outclassed, Jade.

[He just smirked up at Luke.]

How rude, not answering my question~

I would have thought the answer obvious.

[Luke smirked casually, assured of his victory.]

Unless you can come up with a very good reason as to why I shouldn't?

And I would have thought you smarter.

[The hand next to his head summoned the spear straight up, the butt of it heading right for Luke's head. After that, blades of wind flew outward, attempting to injure and push Luke back. After which, Jade would move to get himself up quickly.]

Sovereign Gale!

[Dammit, Luke hadn't been expecting that. He swore, and there was the sound of static as he suddenly disappeared, moving too fast for the human eye to follow. He reappeared some distance away, a trail of blood trickling down the side of his face.]

Tch...

[On his feet again, Jade adjusted his glasses off, and patted his clothes a bit, spear still summoned and resting in his hand. He located Luke again and rose a brow.]

How long are we going to play around like this~?

[Luke reached up, wiping the blood of his face, before lapping it off of his hand with his tongue. He let out a bored sigh afterwards, shaking his head.]

I was just warming up~

[He crossed his arms over his chest and smirked.]

Then don't look so frustrated~

[Luke let out an indignant noise... before he suddenly vanished, reappearing just as suddenly with his sword just inches from Jade's face.]

[He forced himself to not jump despite the urge to. He sighed.]

Cute, but you're only reinforcing my statement~

[Luke ignored the jibe, instead taking a swipe at him, careful not to put all his strength behind the swing.]

[Jade moved back a large step to avoid the swing, tilting his head lightly.]

I'm sure there are others you can hack up with less trouble~

Hmph! Who said you were being troublesome?

[Now stop wiggling and just come along like a good specimen, dammit!]
