Now she's there near the front of a building, staggering a little ways until she sinks to her knees. For a while she'll try to keep herself upright with her arm. If no one finds her fast enough, she'll fail at that, too.]

[The quiet is lovely. Peaceful, and calm...and spent with her brother. The man she has seen more of in the past year than she had in the previous seven. ...The man who seems to have changed a great deal, once and for all. [Trying to keep her gaze set, she reaches for that hand. And doesn't make it. Something makes the room feel like it pitches to the left, and she leans, and stumbles into a fall, accordingly to 'balance' it.

[He's moving as soon as he sees Nephry start to sway, catching her gently and leading her back to the bed, one arm around her waist to support her. It's probably the most physical contact they had in years.] Be careful.

[Sitting here on the edge of the bed. Yes. Much better than standing. She almost doesn't register Jade's assistance - just becomes aware of everything again once she's seated and the dizziness passes.

And she finds herself holding onto him with one hand, still, and leaning into whatever support he's still giving]

[Even though the dizzy spell has passed. She did say she would defer to Jade's opinion, and if he thinks she should lie down, there will be no arguments. Just letting go of him, and turning herself to rest her head on the pillow again.

[He gently draws the blanket over her.] You obviously aren't feeling well enough to go outside yet. Try to sleep. I'll get the clothes for you. Is there anything else you want?

It was just...a passing feeling. It's gone now. I'm fine.

[Sleep. It sounds wonderful. But she will fight it off stubbornly as long as she thinks Jade will believe her. To stop him from worrying.]

[It's partially true! The severe dizziness is gone. The slightly-lightheaded feeling she woke up with is still there.

Sometimes you just can't win an argument with him. Nephry nods once, and closes her eyes. Try to sleep, he said. Well, all right.]

[He lingers for a few seconds to make sure nothing is wrong, before leaving. He'll return in a few hours with some new clothes. The first thing he does when he gets back is to head upstairs to make sure Nephry is still all right.]

[She is, indeed, just as he left her. Asleep, looking peaceful. Resting. As ordered.

It's a deeper sleep this time - a simple shake won't wake her. But nothing seems to be wrong, and she doesn't look like she's in any sort of distress.]
