Oh god voice testing

[It was hard getting used to life as nobility again. Guy kept finding himself doing things - getting the groceries, making himself meals, even cleaning - things that the maids would usually do for a count. He knew he was probably looked down on it, and that Peony was encouraging him to hire some maids (which tended to present its own problems), but... it felt too weird, going from the one serving others to the one being served.

As such, he's done a little grocery shopping of his own today. He's a bit preoccupied looking down at said groceries, making sure he's got everything.

And then he looks up.]


Oh man, now where am I?

[It takes him less than half a second that none of the buildings here look like those in Grand Chokmah. He looks behind him, back the way he came from. Nothing there. And so he wanders, looking for some sign of how to get home. Holding a bag of groceries he really will need to put down sometime...]

[ The abrupt interruption warrants a string of noises equating to a verbal, profanity-laced keysmash from Luke. Sure, people appear all the time, but that's not an easy thing to get used to. The stack gives a precarious wobble until Luke manages to steady it and whirl on the person who gave her a start. ]

[ In some respects the Leaning Tower of Paperwork is a blessing in disguise- Guy would have been the recipient of the most enthusiastic hug ever and that would've just been embarrassing. Luke secures the pile with a hand on top and a sigh, though Guy's presence alone makes it impossible for her to not smile. ]

Trying to find a way of fixing them together that won't take forever to do. I ran out of notebooks and had to use single sheets.
