in which Luke is very trollable

[Cold days were not exactly good for wandering around much outdoors. Especially when one isn't in the greatest health to begin with. Thus, a certain Luke had bundled himself up and gone to the local library to try to find something to read.

The nice thing was that this library had books of all kinds, not just advanced fontech and fonology texts. Luke himself had picked up something mildly interesting-looking and found one of those comfortable lounge chairs you find in libraries. He'd also taken off a lot of his heavier coats and scarves and things and piled them beside him. He was inside, after all, and it was warm. He didn't need them here, right?

... unfortunately that's about when his exhaustion caught up with him. As such, visitors to the library will find one pale, sickly-looking Luke dozing in a lounge chair, with an open book resting on his stomach.]

[ Hullo there, doppelganger! Luke is very much in agreement about the weather being a tad on the chilly side. Even he, who has no health problems aside from one too many blows to the head, found the library's coziness more preferable to being an ice cube.

It's on his way to swap out books that Luke notices the other replica and pauses to examine the strange lump. He had mistaken it for a new decoration or sculpture across the room, but no, it's only clothing. ...just how many layers were you wearing, Luke? That pile of winter wear could make darn near anyone into a Largo-sized fabric mountain.

Still bewildered, he reaches out to lift the book off his double's stomach in case he rolls over during his nap. And he can hear Tear scolding him for ruining books' spines that way. Haha... ]

[ That would explain the slightly, ahem, excessive number of winter wear garments. It's the one detail that Luke can't quite wrap his head around. Pale skin wasn't all that unusual on it's own - this other him could have been inside for a long while or inhuman. And the longer shirt made oodles of sense; every time they went to Keterburg, he found himself wishing for heavier clothes.

Pulling his own bookmark from a pocket, Luke marks the book's place before quietly setting it down on a nearby end table. Funny how different yet the same they both are from when they started out... He can't help a tiny smile as he selects one of the thinner coats and drapes it over his double's sleeping form. No point in letting him get chilly when the sun goes down. ]
