[ jerk!guy happens to be holding a wrapped box.

a wrapped box that has air holes.

a wrapped box that has air holes and is moving.

well, a little bit, anyway. there's definitely scratching sounds coming from inside. ]

Uh... Luke?

[ ooc; he's out to bother his luke, but, uh... anyone can bother him. :3 and the box has really big air holes, okay. he doesn't hate animals. n-neither do i. ]

[And Luke appears. And stares at the box. The moving box. And suddenly he fears for an explosion] Y-yes?

This is for you. [ holds the box out to him, attempting a comforting smile. with this guy, however... that smile could be a little unsettling. ]

[The perfect wedding gift = murder. Luke inwardly whimpers, terrified of taking the box.]

Come on, take it. The thing can't be inside for long. [ air holes or not. ]

[And takes the box...Surely, Guy wouldn't give him a bomb, right? Unless he wanted them -both- to die in a tragic love story type thing or something...]

W-what's inside?

You'll see. Just open it.

[...And opens the box slowly.]

[ guy just watches, feeling like a giddy child inside, but managing to keep cool on the outside. in the box is a tiny, fuzzy calico kitten, wearing a aqua colored color. there's something very special hanging from the collar. ]

[Luke stares inside the box with wide eyes, mouth shaped into a little "o". Luke carefully pulls the tiny kitten out, making all sorts of cooing noises at it] O-oh my god, it's so little...

You said you wanted a pet, so... And since we have our own place now, I thought it would be a good time to find one. [ now he's just waiting for him to notice the ring hanging off the collar~ ♥ ]

[Luke snuggles the kitten close, the animal immediately digging whatever claws it had into his clothing to secure itself] How did you know I liked cats? [Tries prying the kitten off him to get a better look at it's face, but stubborn kitty is stubborn.]

Just a guess. [ takes a hesitant step forward to attempt helping get the tiny kitten's claws out of luke's shirt. ]

He's got a good grip--There we go...[And lifts the kitten up to eye level and...notices the ring, head immediately snapping to Guy's face in surprise]

[ can't help but smile a bit. ] You needed an engagement ring, right?

A-ah...[The fact that Guy had made enough of an effort to get him an actual engagement ring made Luke's face freeze in pleasant shock. Suddenly, this all seemed more real than before.]

You still want to marry me, right? [ he sounds more amused than hurt, really, which is a good thing. ]

O-of course I do! It's just...surprising!

Surprised I actually went this far?

[Laughs softly and moves closer for a hug, kitten and everything] I guess...but it's a really good kind of surprised.

[ returns the hug in a way that the kitten wouldn't get squished. ] I'm glad. It took awhile to locate a cat, much less kittens.

...Its unofficial name is Sandwich, by the way.

...Sandwich? [Gets a good look at the kitten and giggles] Well, he is kind of sandwiched between us so...I think it fits. [And not to figure out how to get the ring off the kitty.]

And I thought you would be angry at me for already naming him. [ can't help but smile even more. ] Want me to get it off for you?

It's a funny name...I probably would have named it something really faggy like...sparkled. I don't know.

[Returns the smile] Please?

[asdjalf school needs to die. Gotta go, but let's continue tomorrow, okay?]

Sparkled... [ snorts, yet gets to work on trying to get the ring from where he had tied it with string around the collar. kittens move too much. ]
