[Luke snuggles the kitten close, the animal immediately digging whatever claws it had into his clothing to secure itself] How did you know I liked cats? [Tries prying the kitten off him to get a better look at it's face, but stubborn kitty is stubborn.]

Just a guess. [ takes a hesitant step forward to attempt helping get the tiny kitten's claws out of luke's shirt. ]

He's got a good grip--There we go...[And lifts the kitten up to eye level and...notices the ring, head immediately snapping to Guy's face in surprise]

[ can't help but smile a bit. ] You needed an engagement ring, right?

A-ah...[The fact that Guy had made enough of an effort to get him an actual engagement ring made Luke's face freeze in pleasant shock. Suddenly, this all seemed more real than before.]

You still want to marry me, right? [ he sounds more amused than hurt, really, which is a good thing. ]

O-of course I do! It's just...surprising!

Surprised I actually went this far?

[Laughs softly and moves closer for a hug, kitten and everything] I guess...but it's a really good kind of surprised.

[ returns the hug in a way that the kitten wouldn't get squished. ] I'm glad. It took awhile to locate a cat, much less kittens.

...Its unofficial name is Sandwich, by the way.

...Sandwich? [Gets a good look at the kitten and giggles] Well, he is kind of sandwiched between us so...I think it fits. [And not to figure out how to get the ring off the kitty.]

And I thought you would be angry at me for already naming him. [ can't help but smile even more. ] Want me to get it off for you?

It's a funny name...I probably would have named it something really faggy like...sparkled. I don't know.

[Returns the smile] Please?

[asdjalf school needs to die. Gotta go, but let's continue tomorrow, okay?]

Sparkled... [ snorts, yet gets to work on trying to get the ring from where he had tied it with string around the collar. kittens move too much. ]

[ of course. :3 ]

[Tries holding the kitty still, petting behind it's ear] ...It's so cute.

I'm happy you like him so much... [ and aha! he manages to get the ring off. ]

[Laughs softly] I thought I would have to wear the kitten around my finger for a moment

I'm sure he would be so happy with that. Your hand, please.

[And looks down at the kitten, smiling and setting him back in the box] Sorry Sandwich, Daddy and Daddy are about to have a moment, so just wait there.

Poor little Sandwich.

I'm not closing the lid or anything, and he's so little that he can't even walk yet. [Pets the kitten for a bit, before going back to Guy]

He kind of can. It's more like a... Stumbling... Falling over... Rolling on the floor walk. I feel kind of bad about taking advantage of the fact that he couldn't run like the other cats and kittens he was with.

Now, hand.

A-Aw...so cute!. It doesn't matter, I'll take good care of it anyways.

[And hand ♥]

Good.

[ gently takes his hand in the one that wasn't holding the ring, pressing a quick kiss to the back of it. pulling back just enough, he moves his other hand to slip the ring on for him. ]

[Smiles fondly, taking a second to marvel at his new ring before going to wrap his arms around Guy's neck, and pulling him for a little kiss] I love you.
