O-Of course. [looking at him in surprise] Goodness you've...you've changed since I last saw you.

Would you have preferred if I stayed ignorant and stupid?

...I didn't think learning about the world was consider ignorant and stupid.

That is not what I meant. Although it hardly matters now... I can't go back to the way I use to be.

I can't wipe my memory of everything I learned and of everything I've done.

What about you. You seem to be doing fine. Did you ever go back to Auldrant?

In a way yes. The world is peachy. It's doing just fine.

...[he's looking at you with concern] Sync, is everything all right...?

[frowns, not believing you]

...[nods] All right. [smiles faintly, taking your hand and starts walking in the direction where his room is]

[Follows.] I hope you've been well.

ah...yes as well as I'll ever be. There isn't much to do here really. [opens the door to his room and lets you go in first]

Of course there isn't. What did you expect? [He looks inside carefully before stepping in.] You don't mind? [He gestures towards Ion's bed.]

hm, I feel like I'm wasting time the longer I'm here...

ah, not at all, please. [smiles]

What do you plan to do if you return?

[He practically throws himself on Ion's bed, curling up a little.]

Continue to help the people live without the Score.

[watches him, frowning and coming over to you] You should rest now.

...continue? I don't understand what you mean...

[He turns on his side to look at Ion and then reach for his hand.]

...I'm not sure what has happened in the world since Van was defeated, but I've been busy trying to help the people keep living without needing to rely on the Score. It's been a difficult process and I had to disappear at a bad time...[extends his hand to yours, the other resting on top]

So Van was defeated. [smirks.] I wonder what the one here is trying to do. [He tugs on Ion's hand trying to pull him closer.]
