[He's drawing something into the ground with the end of his staff, humming to himself as he does so. Every now and then, he pauses, tilting his head and letting his humming die away to assess his progress before he starts drawing again.]

It's not your fault. And as much as we may want to, I don't think we can take care of them all.. At least, not to the same degree...

It is my fault. [looks over his shoulder at her with a sad smile] I can't love him back.

*laughs quietly and shakes her head.* You'd blame yourself for loving someone else? That seems rather silly to me. It makes as much sense as blaming him for loving you.

I just... wish there was some way to not hurt him with this.

...that's not always possible. You just have to do what's right for you.

Therein lies the problem.

Just because I love Asch doesn't mean I'm not lonely...

...let me tell you something. If you love your Asch, it's worth waiting for. Even if you are lonely.

I wouldn't do anything like that with anyone who isn't Asch.

Doesn't stop me from wishing I could do something to help the one here... or from wishing he were here.

If you keep trying to 'help' you may end up doing the opposite. ..and he may show up yet.

I wouldn't let it go to that kind of point.

Try not to string him along or give him false hope, then.

Sometimes it's hard to tell what another's intentions are unless they're clear about it.

He knows that I'm in love with my Asch.

Then don't show him otherwise.

I wish there was some way to help him find happiness, though. He's been through so much... even just here, even before here... he deserves to be happy, you know?
