When it comes to things that he said, you'll do well to just forget about it. He wasn't looking out for your best interests, but was simply looking for the easiest method to turn you into exactly what he wanted: a tool for his own uses.

You've proven more than enough here that you know more than enough about being part of a family. You've helped us, as well as your friends. You care for people, Asch. That alone is more than enough proof that you're a good kid.
