People become increasingly brazen and will stop hesitating when they are left with no other option. There's only the two of you. How can you possibly keep track of all them?

The same way we've saved the people they've kidnapped every time for over six months.

So, you're telling me that you would do it? You would let them know that you live, in spite of the consequences of it? You'd tell them, even if you knew that doing so could get everyone that you love killed, could get them ripped apart because there are people out there who would do absolutely anything to get their hands on you. People who would hunt every last person we love, who would throw caution to the wind if they caught onto even the faintest whisper that you or I - let alone both - were out there in the world, because what better way to bait us? Tell me, if you knew that what you were doing - what you have to do - would probably leave you dead, would you let the people you love know you were back, only to have to put them through the pain of losing you again? You'd give them that hope only to tear it away again and put them right back into despair?

[turns around, watching him levelly and eyes burning with the same amount of determination he had back in facing his Asch on Eldrant] It's not as simple as keeping a promise to return. So don't you dare try to tell me that we haven't thought of them or that we're selfish for breaking the promises we made, when they're all that we can think about and when keeping those promises would destroy every last one of them in every possible way.

If he brought the two of us back from the dead, he sure as hell can do something.

But go ahead. Run from it if you want. I'll tell you this, though. For all that Asch and I may be hiding from everyone, as you so kindly pointed out, at least we man up to what we have to do. Take a fucking page, show her what she means to you and figure something out. You of all people should know that the world isn't just handed to you on a damn silver platter.
