[It's not all that unusual to see Asch walking around alone, mostly avoiding people. It is, however, probably unusual to see him walking around without his standard >\ expression, not to mention a red and gold jacket.

It's probably also unusual to see him looking over his shoulder so often almost like he's trying to make sure something isn't there.

How he could send his son there - even if I'm not his real son, and neither of us knew then - knowing that he was sending me to my death. He... he knew that part of the Score. And if I had never been made, he would've sent Asch just the same. I want to know how he'd be alright with that. And U-... and His Majesty, as well...

You are correct in that is something only he can provide an answer to. I myself never asked them about it. I doubt I would want to know what their response would be to sending a member of their own family, a child no less, to be killed.

All to keep some... stupid prophecy. All of them... really, if it's not me being used, it would've been him. Is that what it means? What was it that they'd said... Being... "Lorelei's scion"? That is why their dependency on the Score had to change. With all Yulia spoke of in the Score, everything could not have been clear. Being Lorelei's scion could have more than one meaning to it.
