[A not so new face to the city but certainly a new occupant. Have a oddly Victorian looking Luke walking in confusion through the streets. Could be because he was expecting to step out into the court of the castle and not into the middle of a city! Still this was nothing like the streets of London at all. This place... it looked unreal. The most astounding to him was the industrial touches... basically electricity! What magic was this? Taking the cross bow off his belt he starts to load it before letting out a frustrated growl when the trigger slips and the arrow stabs into the ground.]

Oh, bugger all! You were supposed to fix this bloody trigger, Guy.

[He mutters in a distinct English accent and tries loading the cross bow once more.]

Most of my kind don't even know you exist...

[A confused look at that.] Your humans can do magic to? Only a few can do such things and that's after years of practice...

Really? Consider yourselves fortunate. Raids on our kind are commonplace.

[ Frowns, finding himself a touch disappointed that this human must not be from his own world. ] They prefer their machines to magic, but there are some capable of it.

That's terrible... Most humans just think your kind exist only in stories and myths... [sits up a little, still keeping the blanket over his shoulders.]

Though there are still a few that do know... and hunt your kind for sport or revenge... I'm still knew to this stuff myself so I don't know all the details. [Looks at the flames.]

They know magic and have machines...

We're too numerous to be thought of as only mythology. And yet I'm not surprised to hear that we happen to be mistreated where you're from as well. [ That was how humans were, after all. ]

Does that surprise you? Your world is vastly different?

Most don't become hunters until one of your kind kills a loved one of theirs. Most people think the hunters are babbling madmen.

Not sure how many of your kind is around... I've only met two... well three now that I've met you and yes... it surprises me a little... but most things seem toleave me baffled today. [Smiles faintly.]

I don't think I'm from your world at all... Is there a place called "London" in your world? [Makes a bit of a face at being called a child but has no valid argument to defend himself.]

Undoubtedly that is the case. ..."London" does sound familiar, though I know not why. Perhaps someone has mentioned it in passing. [ Turns away from the flickering light, his face twisting up in concentration. ]

How about Europe...? You don't have an accent like mine so I don't believe you're from the mother country.

Hm... I never really tried to find out. I'm just grateful his soul isn't trapped. [Smiles and holds a hand to his chest.] It's safe and very happy.

[ Places more wood on the fire, the corner of his lips curling up. ] Nothing, never you mind.

There is no reason to inform you of my thoughts. [ Takes to scratching the stone floor absently. It would be annoying to accidentally upset the human with his presumptions. ]

[ Notes his change in voice with amusement. ] You think to order me, human?
