So, she got Tokunaga to bunch up a huge pile of leaves outside the plaza where she went shopping for various foodstuffs and warmer clothing and is proceeding to climb a tree to dive right into it.

She grins broadly from her perch on the low branch, looking down at the huge pile, before she springs, calling out an attack name just for the hell of it. She is so mature I can't even.]

[With a soft ploff! Anise lands in the leaves and giggles loudly and happily. Her hair, ~~which was cut by PRICKFACE!LUKE~~, was grown out a good deal by now, and was held aloft in her two bouncy pigtails. It was still much shorter than usual, and kind of uneven, but she didn't mind much. She was just happy to have her pigtails back! And to be having a moment of calm and happiness.

Sure, she had things to do, stuff to make, etc., but...responsibilities are not Anise's strong point. Not when there were fun things like Leaves to jump around in!

Anise felt the little shudder and took even more care than before, tickling the softer, downy feathers wih her fingers and smoothing them down over the longer, more stable feathers.]

[But Anise is impressed by what he's learned in just one short year of being on his own. Poor thing...that was about how long she'd been here with just Asch and though she appreciated his company more than anything, and had learned to love him dearly, it wasn't the same as her other friends.

Anise can see you blushing, Luke. She tries not to grin. Oh, man, it was even worse than when she played with Asch's wings! They really were so much alike in various ways, yet different at the same time. Anise smiled, nuzzling her face into her best friend's chest. She really, really missed the warm, safe, comforting feeling of his arms around her. Luke's hugs were always some of her favorites. ♥]

But when he refuses, she pouts, puffing up her cheeks, and tugs on his harder. You're coming whether you like it or not! >:T]

Boo, I said you're staying with me! Come on, you can't possibly expect me to let you sleep outside when I have a spare room, do you?! And don't tell me you forgot about my super awesome, mouth-watering home-cooked meals!!

[ Luke laughed when she puffed up her cheeks. No, it did not have the intended effect and just sent a wave of nostalgia over him. ... Boo, fine. But I was going to make lemon chicken for dinner tonight...maybe with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed veggies on the side, too. But I guess if you wanna sleep out, that's okay. Just offering.
