[Something's not quite right here, so naturally, it really must be wrong. After all, who just leaves a scrumptious looking triple layer cake with butter cream frosting just sitting on a table in the middle of a street? Certainly not a dorky not-quite-alive replica on the look out for specimens that honestly thinks humans are dumb enough to fall for this. Nope, not at all.]

Going through dimensions is hard enough for me, so to bring you along would be rather painful on my part.

[More like she would need to form a contract to be able to do such a thing. He didn't seem like the type of person to do so with her, seeing how her contractors usually give up something precious.

The girl then held out her hands for him to take.]

If you'll just give me your hands and close your eyes, I'll be able to show you what he's up to at the moment. Unfortunately you won't be able to speak with him though, is that okay?

[Luke took a breath, before he nodded, reaching down and grasping her hands tight.]

[Once both of their eyes were closed, Luke would have been able to feel just what kind of power she really held. It filled the air around them as she carefully followed his string of fate, back to where he had come from, to Hueco Mundo. Once she found where his Master was, she opened up the vision for Luke to see, curious as to how he'd react. She was also curious about this world, wondering why she had never seen or heard of such a place.]

[A highly advanced lab came into view, machinery of all kinds for all different purposes around. The man in question that is Luke's master is a tall man with pink hair, obviously a scientist just by the look of him, currently taking his frustrations out on some poor misshapen thing that might have been human-ish at some point in the past. Now it was just a twisted mass of bone, blood, and assorted tissue, being commented on by two round things that kept bouncing around. The man snapped at them, flinging a scalpel at one as the round things ran off.]

[In reality, Luke started tearing up, his hands trembling in Anise's.]

[The devil gripped his hands reassuringly, the scene they happened upon slightly surprised her. Not that she was innocent from such carnage, perhaps she had somehow softened slightly since interacting with humans...Then again, he had wanted to dissect her at first meeting, perhaps this was a normal occurrence in this society?...Softly, the girl spoke, not wanting to interrupt his moment too much.]

Just tell me when.

[Luke nodded quickly, forcing himself to let go, as the last image he saw was of his master running his hands through his hair, looking terribly upset.]

[He turned away from her, inhaling and rubbing an arm over his eyes.]

...I want to go home.

[A soft frown creased her lips as she watched him turn away. Usually wishes made people happy but instead she had only made him upset. She didn't want to mention it...but he seemed so pained he may want to...]

If you form a contract with me I could probably get you there...But to do so would be a heavy price...

[Soul, Blood, and Life were common prices she asked for.]

[Luke sniffled softly, rubbing his eyes again, before turning to her curiously.]

...what kind of a price?

Usually only something you can give, like for example your soul would be a fair price or at least a portion of it.

[Luke paused, eyes widening slightly as an idea started formulating in his head...]

...and what would my human half be worth?

Physically or within your soul?

[Bare with her, these are very important questions.]

Either... both, it doesn't matter.

[He's not thinking about the consequences of losing his human soul or his physical body. He's just been presented with a way home; what else could he need?!]

[Anise frowned softly, she'll be kind enough to remind him of said consequences.]

You realize you won't be stable if I do such a thing, yes? Mentally and or physically.

I don't care. I'm already half arrancar; what's the worse that could happen if I lost my humanity?

Mm, I suppose the worst that could happen is you become a completely monstrous killing machine...

If that's something you'd like then I can make your human half, both physically and mentally the price.

I doubt it will go that far.

[He has faith in his master's work, you know. He went though great pains to make sure he could exist between two worlds... he totally believed he was stable enough to lose one half and still survive.]

[At least, that's what he kept telling himself.]

[With a twirl of her finger a piece of parchment appeared out of the air with a thin whisp of black smoke, Luke's wish already written on it. She held it out for him to read.]

Sign it with your blood and we have a deal.

[Luke gave it a brief look over, mostly to check to see if she was sneaking in anything that wasn't mentioned. He bit his finger soon after, not even flinching as he drew blood and allowed it to drip onto the contract.]

[With the contract signed, it disappeared and a glyph appeared beneath them as she gathered the tendrils of her powers. The demon stepped forward, holding a hand over his chest as she concentrated on extracting the payment.]

Brace yourself.

[With saying that, she forcefully took his human side, gathering it as fuel so she could complete the other half of the contract. Once she had it all, she moved her hand to the side of them, forcefully ripping open the dimensions that stood in the way of the one she wanted, the one he called home. Once the tear reflected what may of been the front of Las Noches, ruby eyes glanced at the boy, he would only stay stable until the contract was complete. She couldn't help but smile, a bit sadly.]

Step through, perhaps we'll play doctor another day♥

[It hurt... it hurt so much to have his human side ripped out of him. It left him as nothing but a soul, void gaping in his chest, but he didn't care. There was Las Noches; home was just within his grasp. He reaches out for it, staggering like a blind man toward the light...]

[It was like his fingertips brushed against the tear in dimensional space, and they sparked, tiny fires bursting forth. This was not good...]

[Perhaps that game of doctor would come sooner than she thought...The demon's eyes widened in shock and fear, realizing that another force was coming into play. It would be bad for her if she couldn't fill the contract, especially if something terrible happened to him in the process.]

Luke, be careful! Something is not right.

[Luke cried out in pain, fire spreading up his fingers, along his arm. It hurt... dear god, it felt like his very soul was being incinerated.]

[Time to try and abort. The demon grabbed his shirt and pulled him back away from the dimensional tear, moving then to close and seal it back up before assisting the boy with his strange fire problem. Hopefully it wasn't along the lines of some holy power, otherwise they'd both be in trouble.]

[Luke fell back onto the ground, screaming in agony as he landed on his back. Fire started pouring out of the void in his chest, crawling down along his body...]
