[Sync is hastily walking around. Is he searching for someone, maybe? Any closed doors he comes to, he'll kick open and continue on his way. Come be angry at him if he broke down your door... ]

[was reading his book, frowning as the banging outside his door gets louder and louder] W-What's going on out there?

[And the banging continues until he kicks down your door too and peers inside.]

...Sync?

[He walks inside of the room then slowly gets closer to Ion.]

[quietly shuts his book, looking at Sync, confused] E-Everything all right?

[He rests his head on Ion's shoulder.] Uh-huh...

[frowns]...Are you feeling tired?

Overwhelmingly so... but I was searching for you.

...oh Sync. [turns and gives him a hug] I'm sorry to have worried you. I found myself someplace else without realizing it.

[He stiffens a bit at the hug and makes no attempt to return it.] What makes you think I was worried? [Saying that makes it clear that he was.]

What is this place. I hardly remember the other place anyway.

[smiles softly, letting him go]

I wish I knew, but it feels a little like the place we were before...just not as many people.

It's still a dump if that's what you mean.

What's with that look? Aren't you glad to see me?

O-Of course. [looking at him in surprise] Goodness you've...you've changed since I last saw you.

Would you have preferred if I stayed ignorant and stupid?

...I didn't think learning about the world was consider ignorant and stupid.

That is not what I meant. Although it hardly matters now... I can't go back to the way I use to be.

I can't wipe my memory of everything I learned and of everything I've done.

No I...I haven't been able to. [frowns] You were able to?

In a way yes. The world is peachy. It's doing just fine.

...[he's looking at you with concern] Sync, is everything all right...?

...Yes. Why would you think otherwise?

I want to lie down for a bit...

[frowns, not believing you]

I'll take you to my room. You can rest there.
