[If I give you one hint on fighting Rubicante, it's this: turn battle mode to Wait and PRAY Edge gets the first move, then steal from the bastard. APPARENTLY he doesn't like Edge getting touchy feely and closes his cape... which, in turn, means no Inferno insta-kill to your mages and ninja.]

((That's the strategy I've seen. I'm starting to get a feel on how to do some of the bosses. Calbrina and Golbez gave me no problems except an extreme case of the willies. AUGH DOLLS.))

[This is the first time the whole game I've had to switch off to Wait. >< The dolls weren't so bad once I got the general feel for them, but Golbez... I had problems due to Kain being an idiot. He either wouldn't jump in time or would come back down too soon every time; part of the Golbez fight was also luck, though, I found. If he casts Bio as his first spell after Rydia shows up, you'll win, because it doesn't do nearly as much damage as his -ara spells. Thus, Rydia doesn't get instantly dropped into the red, and you have time to raise Rosa. Amazingly, it also ends up giving you the chance to raise the rest of the party with her first two turns if she has Doublecast; Raise as the first cast, full-party Cura as the second.]

((I had a bit of a problem at first with Calbrina. No one but Cecil could take a hit from the big doll. So I just eventually left everyone in yellow except him and just spent my time healing him. And thus, dead dolls. Golbez was surprisingly easy... I messed up with the augments and I don't want to restart, but it was surprisingly easy to do it without Dualcast.))

[That's because Cecil's HP mod is higher than previous versions, from what I can tell. ~~And Kain's is muuuuuuuuch much lower. Why is Edge hitting 2000 HP levels before Kain did????~~]
