[This wasn't right, not at all. Asch had never actually been to the Radiation Gate before this, but he was pretty damn sure it wasn't supposed to look like this. Instead of the ancient structure he had been expecting, he now saw... a strange, large building, with a small village surrounding it. It didn't look like anything he had ever seen on Auldrant, but there was no other explanation for it. The Albiore was nowhere to be seen, though; there's no way it could have been flown away so quickly, and Asch knew (hoped) that he wouldn't be left alone like that...

And so he set off, investigating this strange new location, looking even angrier than usual. He would very much like to get out of here, or at least get an explanation, so any help would be greatly appreciated.]

(ooc; just to warn you, this asch is au, but that's all i'll say about that for now. also, this is my first time playing a canon-ish asch, so let me know how i'm doing!)

[And again he completely freezes up, standing as still as a statue while she hugs him.]

Asch... It's just me. It's okay.

[After a few moments he moves to hug her, breathing heavily as he attempts to calm himself down.]

[ She stays still this time, hoping to show him that she wasn't about to do anything. ] See? You're safe.

...Yeah. You won't hurt me. [He pulls away from the hug, though, still incredibly uncomfortable.]

[ Gives him a small smile, taking his hand again. ] The worst I'm going to do is make you babysit or hide under a pillow thanks to weird noises at night.

...If I start hearing weird noises, I'm taking the baby and leaving.

You better learn how to change diapers first.

I'll bring him back when you're done, and you can change him.

Oh no. You're going to need to know how to take care of him when you're babysitting.

I don't count that as babysitting. I'm preventing him from being traumatized by you two.

He's not going to be traumatized by that! There's no way he could know what's going on.

No, but I will be. I don't want him all alone while you're busy like that.

I'll get you a pair of earplugs. And it'll be fine if he's busy sleeping.

...Fine.

[He looks away, blushing.] But you'd better not complain when Guy gets here.

[ Is that a hint of an Asch-like grin there? ] Whatever would I have to complain about~♥?

You know... Noise and stuff. [His face is almost the same shade as his hair by this point, and he's looking completely away from her as he speaks.]

Then we'll just have to find a way to drown you out. Unless it sounds like you're in trouble. Might have to check on you then. [ D'aw. Asch can be so cute when he's embarrassed. ]

You'd better not! You can't see that!

Haha! Don't worry, Asch! That's not something I really want to see.

Good... That's way too embarrassing. [He looks back up at her, still blushing but not as much as before. He gives her a small smile before looking up at the house.]

...It's a lot smaller than I remembered.

Makes me glad you never walked in on us. [ She glances at the house, then back at him with a smile, smoothing his hair back. ]

You were a lot smaller too.

That wouldn't have been good. [He makes a face when she touches his hair but lets her anyway, still looking at the house.]

That's probably why it seemed so big. I was pretty small back then.

No kidding. [ Her hand drops back down to her side. ]

Yep! About half my size when you were a kid. ...you still like it, right?

Yeah, I do. It's just right.
