[Watch out, ADR, the crossover Luke is out and about again. It took some sleepless nights (not like he really needs sleep anyway), but he managed to get his new lab up to his satisfaction. It wasn't perfect, as there were still many things in his master's lab in Las Noches that he just could not acquire here.]

[But it didn't matter; without his master here, he was free to explore and experiment as he wished... but first he needed some specimens. The thought brought a wicked little smirk to his face, wondering what exciting kind of creature he could drag off...]

[ Obsidian is neither exciting nor a creature, but when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade, yes? Not that we're suggesting the fracción try turning him into juice, mind you. ...anywho.

Also out hunting for new toys is another redhead of a different variety. Being bored and frustrated, he'll take just about any opportunity to kick a replica around some. Unfortunately for him, he's picked the worst one possible. ]

[Luke blinked at the bored and frustrated redhead, wondering what 'Asch' he was. He had observed a few differences between the 'normal' Asches, but he couldn't recall ever meeting this one before. Still, he looked high and mightier than most, so he inclined his head to him politely... for now.]

[ Asch paused at the very simple, though telling greeting. Most replicas he had met along the way were quick to assert their belief that they were equals; a foolish notion to say the least. Were this one more mellow, it could make subduing him that much easier. Both eyebrows and lips quirked up out of sheer amusement. ]

I have always wondered if that title still applies to myself. It feels rather odd to be the 'replica' of a human, when one is no longer human.

[Nocturne here has just snuck away from Peony's house for a while to explore more of the small town he had landed himself in. He comes across the Luke with a bone mask and wonders what exactly he's doing with it. Had Peony given it to him as part of another of his ridiculous costumes?]

[Luke feels a pair of eyes on him and looks up, both amused and surprised to see Jade there; and not the kitty!Jade but what seemed to be a real one. Fascinating; a part of him had always been anxious to hold a conversation with Jade and actually understand what he was saying. He walked over to him after a moment, matching the creepy stare with a creepy smile of his own.]

Jade. Pleasure to see you... or perhaps I should say 'meet you'.

[Luke stops dead at that familiar voice, feeling the hair on the back of his neck stand on end. That was impossible... Van was dead, he couldn't be alive here. There was no way... Slowly, he turned around, eyes narrowing at him.]
