[Watch out, ADR, the crossover Luke is out and about again. It took some sleepless nights (not like he really needs sleep anyway), but he managed to get his new lab up to his satisfaction. It wasn't perfect, as there were still many things in his master's lab in Las Noches that he just could not acquire here.]

[But it didn't matter; without his master here, he was free to explore and experiment as he wished... but first he needed some specimens. The thought brought a wicked little smirk to his face, wondering what exciting kind of creature he could drag off...]

[Slides the Sword out of it's sheath, a very amused look on his face.]

[Asch draws his own sword, smirking.] You really want to try?

I will not try, I will do. Though I must ask, try not to die with too much of your body in pieces? It leads to such a mess on my observation table.

Hmph. Then begin.

[And no sooner does the words leave his mouth, does he move... and he suddenly goes from a few feet away from Asch, to right in his face, his sword coming down toward his head.]

[That surprises Asch a lot more than he lets on, but he quickly draws his sword in an attempt to block as he shifts out of the way as much as possible.]

[Luke goes from in his face to a few feet away again in the blink of an eye. From the smirk on his face, it's obvious he's just toying with you right now, Asch.]

[Oh, now that pisses him off. Seeing that Luke was stronger was one thing, but not even being taken seriously is far too reminiscent of other people.]

What the hell is your problem, replica?! I thought you wanted to fight!

And I told you try not to die in too many pieces. Had I used my full strength, you would not be standing.

You're just a coward! [He hangs back, though, not wanting to get too close to Luke. Instead, he starts gathering fonons for an arte, keeping a close eye on the replica as he does so.]

[Luke stands still, a slow, sly smile working it's way onto his face. G'head and hit him, Asch. G'head.]

[The look on his face confuses Asch, but he continues with the arte anyway, not letting it bother him.]

Explosion!

[The fire explodes around Luke, and he disappears in the flames. Once the arte dies away, however, Luke is still standing there... and while his white clothes are singed a little, he is otherwise unhurt.]

Was that your best?

[He sonidos again, coming right up beside Asch and swinging, impacting against his sword hard enough to send a strong vibration through the weapon. Luke stepped away a few feet in the matter of a second again, before he was beside him again, sword lashing out with the intent to kill.]

[This Asch is a bit more skilled on the battlefield than many Asches, so what would normally be a fatal blow is dodged enough that it simply opens a large gash in his side. He manages to stay standing for the moment, although it's obviously taking a lot just to manage that. Still, he smirks at the replica, a somewhat evil look on his face.]

Is that really all you can do? I expected better, with all that talk of yours.

I'm surprised; with the way you were talking, it seemed you wanted me dead. [Okay, yeah, standing is a bit hard now, so he goes down to one knee. He's still holding his sword, though, just in case Luke tries something.]
