[ We would remember you, except that we haven't met you yet. Clearly this must be rectified! ]

[ Luke pauses at the door when he hears the strange noises inside, but being somewhat better mannered, he doesn't just barge on in. Instead, Luke carefully presses his ear to the door, listening and trying to figure out what the heck is going on in there. ]

[ Except that when there's a shout of "DIE!" followed by more noises, he shoves the door with his shoulder and dashes in, drawing his sword in the process. ]

[ Yeah, he just attacked your arcade game, Flame. ]

[ Only somewhat? And Flame just jumped back when he heard the door smash in, immediately going for his shotgun instinctively. He whipped it around from over his shoulder and pulled back the hammer, aiming it at Prism's head with a frown and a finger on the trigger. ]

[ ... Oh. ... Oh shit. Flame looked confused for a minute and lowered his gun. ] What the hell are you doing? [ Have an annoyed look. This was still really weird to meet... himself, but ugh! He attacked him! ] It's just a video game! You almost took my head off!

[ He's much better than he used to be, that's for sure, but Luke will forever have the impulsive nature that keeps him from being the most well-behaved kid in town. ]

[ With his sword still embedded several inches into the poor Dragon Buster game, Luke is left staring down the barrel of a shotgun for about half a second before his reflexes kick in and he falls over onto his ass, face pale. Pleasedon'tshoothimpleasedon'tshoothimpleasedon'tshoothim...! ]

[ MY GAME. YOU BASTARD. Luke just sighed and looked down at him before laughing. ] I guess I would think that, wouldn't I...? [ He smiled and slung his gun back over his shoulder before offering a hand to help him up. ] Sorry for scaring you. It's a reflex.

[ The pause between his last words and the other replica's seemed to last forever to Luke, and he couldn't help flinching in preparation for whatever retaliation his double would respond with. Except that he was.. laughing? ] Yeah... I didn't recognize the noise, so I kinda thought someone had gotten into a fight. [ Luke returns with a sheepish grin of his own and clasps Flame's hand, pulling himself to his feet. ] Nah, it's my fault. I should've looked before I leapt. Literally. You okay?

[ The laugh just got louder. He really was an idiot, huh...? ] The only thing I was fighting were dragons. [ Sheepish grin. ] I... still have that problem, too. I'm all right, thanks. Are you? [ At least this one isn't a creeper Luke. ]

[ It was nice to know that even if they weren't the same, other hims seemed to be as easy-going and understanding. Luke relaxed once he was upright and nodded, taking a second look at the game. ] Guess we're all kinda like that. 'm fine, other than being a bit shaken. It's not often I come across someone with a gun. [ But creepers are fun! ]

[ His eyes brightened and he rushed in to hug her with a huge grin on his face. ] Tear! Tear, it's really you...!

[ Luke's just going to hold her to his chest. His throat was constricting with the effort it took to hold back his own emotions. He's... actually rather surprised at the wetness. Had he ever seen Tear cry? And... and over him? He frowned at the pang of guilt in his chest and reached up to brush away any stray tears. ] Yeah... And I'm not leaving again, so... so don't cry over me, okay? I'm not worth it. [ He laughed softly. He didn't mean it in a put-down kind of way. ]

[ Luke blushed as well, smile faltering as if he'd said something wrong. He tended to shove his foot in his mouth at any available moment, so it wasn't surprising. ]

Tear... [ He's visibly touched, and just manages a soft smile down at her. He really did miss her... ]

Ah, well. That's... a long story. [ And as if on cue, he stretched them out. They had been curled tensely against his back the whole time he was playing that game. See how cute and red and fluffy they are, Tear? ] Basically, there's this Guardian possessing me. That's what caused the wings. Guardians are kind of like Lorelei and Gnome and Shadow.
