I did a few soundproofing tests. The walls are awesomely thick.

Is his room right next to ours?

No, not really--come on...Why don't you go see it yourself?

All right. [ slowly stands, offering his hands to help luke up. ]

[Puts on his bag and takes Guy hands, standing up. He doesn't let go of one of Guy's hands though, smiling at walking like this]

So, uh... I have to do the cleaning of this place?

Well, I've already cleaned it. But in the future, we're both keeping it neat. It's my house too, so I have to help...

Oh, like you'll really help.

...That's kind of unfair, isn't it? I mean, while you were sleeping, I've walked all over the place looking for a house, when the last thing I wanted to do was go out...I cleaned the place top to bottom, and I moved most of the furniture inside...

I was trying to be funny, Luke. Don't take things so literally.

... [Just opens the door and lets go of his hand, going to the bedroom. On their bed, his journal is opened and there are a few pages scattered around full of the fonic alphabet.]

[ gives a sigh and follows after him, of course, not even bothering to look over the house just yet. ] You're mad at me now.

I'm okay. [Walks to the bed, dropping his bag on it and gathering the mess of papers] Your work room is at the back, if you wanna go see it.

...What's with all the papers?

Fonic Alphabet. [Was about to give him his journal, where another Luke wrote the swirly letters in it; But at the risk of Guy reading it, he instead gives him a random page with small words] Since I didn't get to graduate, I thought that at least studying something might make me feel less dumb.

[ looks over the page, then up at luke. ] Hmm.

I didn't graduate. Am I dumb?

No...it's just that I feel funny that I can't finish school.

Plus, you got a GED, so it's just as good.

School isn't everything, Luke.

...Well, all I had back home was school. It's kind of hard tearing from the concept of waking up early everyday, and forcing myself to learn.

[Takes another page] It looks kind of neat. Plus, it isn't Spanish. Freaking hated Spanish.

That's why I took French.

And German. Well, I was in German first, but quickly changed my mind the next year because the teacher was fucking crazy. Really, really crazy.

Eh, French. It always sounded like people constantly throwing up to me.

My mother spoke French.

Haha, and my parents spoke German.

No wonder why that class made me want to kill myself.

Heh.

[Grabs a bit of his hair] I look more Irish than German, though.
