[Today, Asch finds himself waking up in the middle of a hallway. He blinks a few times, shielding his eyes from the light before lowing his hands to look down at them. He frowns to himself, looking around before skittering a bit towards the shadows cast by a wall.

He looks hopelessly confused, as though everything is unfamiliar to him... the hallway, the light... even his own hands.]

[Over at the little house he picked out for himself, Asch is sitting outside, perched almost precariously on the railing of the front porch and just kicking his legs back and forth, humming softly to himself.]

[Asch is searching through some homes... some rather small homes. Nothing more than some simple, one-bedroom places towards the outskirts of everything, really. He seems preoccupied, which generally means "easy to sneak up on," and could probably use some help deciding...]

[It's a fantastically clear day outside, and so Asch has decided to go out and just lay back on the ground in a nice, open field. He's really just staring up at the clouds and seeing what they look like.] That one's...

[And here, we have a replica in a gown. A very long, very poofy, very pretty princess gown, in fact. Which wouldn't be too bad, really...

...except, of course, this replica is very much not a princess. In fact, he is very much not even a she. Which might, in fact, explain why he's looking into a full-length mirror in annoyance.

It should probably be mentioned that his hair ~~has been trimmed~~ is in those long, thick, princess-y curls, as well.]

What. The hell?!

[Yeah. Much like the other night, Asch has no idea how the hell this happened. But, needless to say, he is not pleased with this development. At all.]

[Asch is sitting in a room with the door open (although he thought it was closed), in front of a mirror that he seems to almost be refusing to look into. His head's down and he's biting his lip as he starts to unwrap one of his arms, looking a little upset once he's done with that and sees some scarring. That doesn't stop him from going on to unwrap the other arm to find the same thing, though.]

...

[Seems to almost be talking himself into looking up and into the glass of the mirror, and it takes a few minutes for him to finally do so, biting his lip again as he slowly reaches up to the bandage on his left cheek, but he stops before he can bring himself to pull it off.]

This happens a few times before he finally blinks his eyes open, looking around curiously.]

Mm...? Where...?

[the astute might notice the slightly distant look in his eyes]
